My pastor's niece is in this movie. I haven't seen it. At first, I didn't go see it b/c I thought it looked hokey. But, I might watch later at some point in time.

She's the girlfriend of the main college student character. Her mom is semi-famous/well known personality.

Oh Interesting

As much as i hate to say it, it was hokey. The actual apologetics part was excellent. There were some good arguments made. But, true to evangelical movie history, the movie itself was blah and the storylines were unbelievable. There were several different ones woven together like they were trying to take the formula from New Years Eve or Valentine's Day. But I feel like they were trying too hard to create too many dramatic storylines to move the story along that they didn't actually take enough time to build them up to make them believable in a way that would make the audience care about the characters before the climax came.

Which is really too bad. Because I think the movie had a lot of potential.

Why they never call me to help flesh things out, I'll never know :P

Unless Kierkegaard was involved in the apologetics I'm not interested.

(Okay I'm probably not going to watch it anyway but I'm reading Kierkegaard now and sort of obsessed with him.)
