I'm gonna be honest and admit that I'm not comfortable dating women more than a couple of years older than me. Is it because I'm attracted to women who are younger than me? ...Maybe.

In the other direction, I tend towards the "half your age plus seven" rule. But just as a guideline, more than a rule. If I met a lady who was, say, 20 years old but just as mature as I am, I'd be okay with that.

It's funny. Intellectually I see nothing wrong with the older woman/younger man dynamic. It's actually a recurring theme in my family. My mom is older than my dad. My grandma was older than my grandfather when he was alive (by 8 years, even!), and my aunt is older than my uncle. I know other couples in which that's the case too. And they seem well suited for each other.

But any time I've attempted to overlook age and felt drawn to a younger guy, it's like, "nope." Somehow it feels off. I wonder though how much of that is cultural and how much is about not being a good fit.

I won't discount the idea entirely because who knows? But I think I envision myself with someone older.

For me personally... I have NEVER been attracted to a younger guy. Even by a year, its a huge turn off. And my lcap seems to be about 5 years older than me.

My mom is older than my dad and my grandma is older than my grandpa. They both creep me out.

If she's both a legal adult and legally able to drink, she's old enough. If she's younger than me, she's young enough. Actual maturity, intelligence, and wisdom is gauged individually.

Younger range? Prefer not but pending circumstances would consent to 2-3 years maybe. The guy can't be more than 11 years older than me. So I'll take a 38-year-old but that 39-year-old better find someone his own age.

The older I get , the larger the age gap I'm after it seems. aaaaaaaaaaaa
Maybe cause I've been around a bunch of rich people lately, and most of them have wives 20+ years younger.
