I think I'm getting too old for my own good because I've found myself saying on more than one occasion: "You know what I look forward to the most about Christmas? It being over." :D

I love Christmas I enjoy making people I care about happy.

Also, this time of year being outside is livable in Texas. :D

I like Christmas. Always have. Its my favourite holiday.

I think though that it can be easy to get really stressed out this time of year. Lots going on. Added obligations, etc... But I dunno. There's something beautiful about it. Even take away the presents and materialism of it all and its a beautiful time. Actually that might make it more beautiful. Except I'd still want to get presents for others. Sooo.. I dunno.

I have nothing of importance to add here.

It's odd because I do like the introspection and solenity that the physical darkness of the season affords us in the Northern Hemisphere. I used to dread September because that's when I would notice the nights getting longer. Now I look forward to late October when it really gets noticable and by the time it's December I'm accustomed to it and could use another month or two of the darkness. However, coldness I don't like. I'm weird.
